Green Deal and Eco Awards
The Wood Heating Company are heading to Manchester for the Green Deal and Eco Awards on Friday night after being shortlisted for another top award!
The National Green Deal & ECO Awards were set up in 2014 following the launch of the Government's flagship energy efficiency policy, the Green Deal Finance Initiative.
The aim of the National Green Deal & ECO Awards is to provide public recognition for the excellent work the sector, and to help encourage best practice within the Energy Industry.
Hat-Trick of Award Nominations
The Wood Heating Company, along with sister company IXUS Energy, which distributes boilers, has been nominated for three awards at the H&V News 2015.
The awards include: District Heating Project of the Year, Domestic H&V Product of the Year (in collaboration with biomass boilers manufacturer, KWB) and Training Initiative of the Year.
There have been more entries to this year’s awards than ever before, meaning only those who demonstrated the very highest standards have made it through to the final stage.
Government launches RHI payments calculator
We are pleased to inform you that the Government has launched its Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) Payments Calculator.
This is an online tool which will enable consumers in England, Scotland and Wales to calculate how much they might receive if they installed a renewable heating system through the RHI. It can be accessed at www.gov.uk/renewable-heat-incentive-calculator
The Domestic RHI payments calculator is intended to give consumers a better understanding of the amount of income they might receive from the Domestic RHI so they have the confidence to invest in renewable heating technology.
